Here's what a few clients have to say about Iolite Writing Services:

"It was like striking the mother lode at a gold mine when Annika arrived on the FMAF scene! Annika produces a well thought out product in a timely manner."
- Rita Vermala-Koski, Co-Chair, 2004 Finlandia Music and Art Festival

"Annika has been indispensable, writing clear and exciting pages for my website and providing suggestions on its layout.  Her technical knowledge enables her to explain complex concepts in concise and understandable text.  Knowing I can call on her to help with my projects eases some of the stress of running my business!"

- Tami Thomas, owner, Terre-Source LLC

BIOGRAPHIES

Annika Wallendahl. owner and lead writer

I have worked as a journalist and science writer for eight years. As a member of the National Association of Science Writers, I frequently write about technology, engineering projects, natural sciences and the environment. I am currently a contributing writer for the Reporter Newspapers, a newspaper publication with 500,000 readers in the Bothell-Bellevue-Auburn corridor. In addition to my writing experience, I also hold a master's of science degree in geology and am a licensed professional geologist in Washington State.

I also often cover Scandinavian-interest stories because I am a dual-citizen of Finland. I lived in Turku, Finland for three years while working on my master's degree. I speak fluent Swedish and enjoy biking, running, gardening, ultimate frisbee and watching NOVA.
