Most frequently, I work translating technology writing (computer, software, hardware, user documentation, websites).

My services include translation into English, proofreading and editing. I relocated to Seattle from Scandinavia in 2001. I have worked for a variety of Scandinavian firms, and in 2007 I worked as a Swedish language specialist for Microsoft.

I also work as a journalist and writer (writing in English), so you can be sure your translated text will be newspaper-, magazine- and user-ready for U.S. audiences.

ABOUT ME

I am a dual citizen of Finland and the U.S. and I speak fluent Swedish. (I am part of Finland's 6% Swedish-speaking minority.) I lived in Turku, Finland for four years while working on my master's degree. On the U.S. West Coast, I'm familiar with Scandinavian interest groups and can hone in on your target group. Of course, I work with non-Scandinavians too!
